Aisha Marwa, a 2.5-year-old girl from Kozhikode, Kerala, India, required specialised treatment for a complex congenital heart condition and underwent an RV-PA (Right Ventricle to Pulmonary Artery) Conduit procedure with UF.

In 2017, Aisha received her cardiac treatment at AIMS, Cochin. The RV-PA conduit procedure is used in certain complex congenital heart conditions to create or improve the pathway carrying blood from the right side of the heart towards the lungs, supporting better circulation.

With timely specialised care and fundraising support, Aisha was able to access the complex cardiac surgery she needed at a young age. Her journey highlights how financial assistance can help families secure advanced heart treatment for children with serious congenital heart conditions and give them a stronger chance at a healthier future.
