These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.bloomtolife.org and related services provided by Bloom To Life (collectively, the “Website”). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
Bloom To Life is a California nonprofit corporation recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. Our Federal Employer Identification Number is 47-4496464.
1. Our Mission and Website
Bloom To Life works to make life-saving pediatric cardiac care accessible to underserved children. The Website provides general information about our mission, programs, beneficiaries, fundraising, volunteer opportunities, and ways to support our work.
Website content is provided for general informational and charitable purposes only. It is not medical, legal, tax, financial, or other professional advice.
2. Eligibility and Acceptable Use
You may use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- violate any applicable law or regulation;
- submit false, misleading, fraudulent, defamatory, or unlawful material;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent an affiliation;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, its servers, accounts, or data;
- introduce malware, harmful code, automated scraping tools, or disruptive technology;
- interfere with the Website’s security, operation, or availability;
- collect information about other users without authorization; or
- use Website content or Bloom To Life’s name, logo, or materials in a way that falsely suggests endorsement or affiliation.
We may restrict or terminate access to the Website where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
3. Donations
Donations made through the Website are voluntary and are processed by PayPal or another third-party payment provider identified during checkout. Your use of that provider is also subject to its terms and privacy policy.
Bloom To Life is recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3). Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Donors are responsible for consulting their own tax advisers regarding deductibility and recordkeeping.
Unless a donation opportunity expressly states otherwise, donations support Bloom To Life’s charitable mission and may be allocated where the organization determines the need is greatest. If a campaign is fully funded, becomes impracticable, or can no longer use restricted funds for the stated purpose, Bloom To Life will handle the funds in accordance with applicable law and any communicated donor restrictions.
4. Donation Errors, Cancellations, and Refunds
Donations are generally final. If you believe a donation was made in error, duplicated, unauthorized, or for an incorrect amount, contact info@bloomtolife.org promptly and include the transaction date, amount, donor name, and transaction identifier. Do not email complete payment-card or bank-account details.
Refund requests will be reviewed individually and remain subject to applicable law, payment-provider rules, the status and designation of the funds, and Bloom To Life’s internal policies. Processing fees may be non-refundable. Bloom To Life does not guarantee that every refund request can be granted.
5. No Guarantee of Medical Care or Outcome
Information on the Website does not create a doctor-patient relationship, provide a diagnosis, recommend treatment, or substitute for professional medical advice. Always seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional regarding a medical condition or treatment.
A donation, application, referral, inquiry, or communication with Bloom To Life does not guarantee that a child will be accepted into a program, receive financial assistance, undergo surgery, or achieve a particular medical outcome. Eligibility, funding, treatment decisions, scheduling, and medical care may depend on available resources, clinical assessments, hospital policies, partner requirements, and other circumstances beyond Bloom To Life’s control.
Medical professionals and hospitals are independent providers responsible for their clinical decisions and services. Bloom To Life does not practice medicine and does not control or guarantee the conduct or outcomes of independent medical providers.
6. Beneficiary Stories and Images
Stories, photographs, names, treatment summaries, or outcomes may be shared to illustrate Bloom To Life’s work, with appropriate authorization. Individual experiences vary, and no story should be interpreted as a promise that another beneficiary will receive the same services or outcome.
You may not download, reproduce, modify, distribute, exploit, or use beneficiary stories or images outside ordinary personal viewing without prior written permission from Bloom To Life and any other required rights holder.
7. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the Website and its text, graphics, photographs, videos, logos, design, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Bloom To Life and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
Bloom To Life grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Website for personal, noncommercial, and charitable informational purposes. No other rights are granted. Written permission is required for republication, commercial use, modification, distribution, or creation of derivative works

If you send comments, testimonials, photographs, stories, suggestions, or other materials, you represent that you have the right and any required consent to provide them and that they do not violate law or another person’s rights.
Submitting material does not automatically authorize Bloom To Life to publish a child’s identifiable medical story or image. Bloom To Life will seek any additional consent or release it determines is appropriate before publication.
